Kay Nelson:
Co-Owner/ DVIDA Certified Ballroom & Latin Instructor
Kay Nelson started dancing at the age of 6 with family in her home state of Georgia. Over the years, she relocated to Indiana and participated in a multitude of performance art and movement related activities, and was always placed in a position of leadership.
​
Holding 2 dance certifications; one most notably being a DVIDA dance certification with honors; Kay had the opportunity to work as the Assistant Latin Fusion instructor to Lacey Schwimmer ( formerly of Dancing with the Stars ) for 2 years.
​
Kay has the unique experience of working in just about every area of dance business. From Reception, to Management, to Teaching, and stage performance.

Gary Nelson:
Co-Owner/ Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructor
Gary Nelson is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, where he started is career in the Dance Industry. Having performed on stages small and large, Gary has gained a strong set of valuable skills over the years.

He has performed on the same stages at T-Pain & Rick Ross, and after re-locating to Las Vegas with his family, worked side-by-side with Cirque du Soleil performers as an Assistant Acrobatic Arts instructor.
​
Utilizing his Acrobatic Arts certification, Gary created and lead an Acrobatic Arts program at the Alexander School at Rainbow Mountain. Additionally, he partnered with VZ Dance lead a Hip Hop program for children.

Courtney Tobin:
Contemporary Dance Instructor/Virtual Assistant
Courtney is a dance teacher and virtual assistant for Nova Star Dance Company. As life can be hard, She's learned to use dance as therapy. She has trained in Limon, Horton, Graham, Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Contemporary is Courtney's specialty. She is very passionate about entertainment because it brings people together in a peaceful way. In her last job with Effervesce, she was promoted to store manager after only working for two months as a Sales Artist. Along with sales, inventory, and other management, She was also her private event coordinator and helped with creating content for social media platforms. Anywhere she was needed, she was there. She learned about sales and the back end of a small business. She has degree in Business Management and attended Las Vegas Academy as dance major. With LVA she has two years of assistant teaching, including setting choreography on stage for dance performances. She loves spending time outdoors, trying new food, and taking care of my health. Her family and friends keep her inspired.

Mo Smith: Hip Hop Instructor
Mo is a 24 years old Las Vegas Native who has over 15 years to her dance career. She received most of her training from the West Las Vegas Arts Center at a young age and further extended her training with The Village Dance Collective and Nova Star Dance Company LLC.
She competes with The Village, having multiple competitions under her belt. In addition to her extensive competitive career , she has also been a print model and Las Vegas runways for 5 years.
Mo has performed in fashion shows and frequently attends Tuesday Blend, a Local Las Vegas arts and culture event. Some of her memorable performances can be attributed to the many competitions she has attended, a wedding performance where she performed a memorable modern piece for a bride and groom as well as the various video projects she has been featured in.

Florence Awuah: Dance Fit/Graphic Design
Florence Awuah's love for the arts has driven her diversity in exploring different avenues. Whether it's music, art or dance her love for the craft shows. At a younger age She was in the musical Annie. Where she performed a dance number. At Agi performing academy she took dance,acting, and vocal which also added to her ability to be diverse. Florence awuah has trained with Gary Nelson in hiphop classes which further grew her love for dance. Florence Awuah has worked for non-profits such has Life Long Dreams. An organization that spealizes in helping individuals with disabilities shine in the performance arts. For sever years She would help in the music and theater department where she was able to help the students learn the dance moves and helped them with stage placement. Her energy and great spirit shows through everything she does.

Britt James Curry: Cinematographer
Britt James Curry is a freelance cinematographer & videographer currently working with NSDC. He is a graduate of the Film program at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is continuing his studies at UCLA Extension. He has a strong passion for travel, good food & the medium of animation.
